This is a form fitting vest, as vests should be, vests are intended as base to mid layers. The sizing is proper, no re-sizing smalls into mediums as the girth of the population increases. This is a very well-made thermal vest - perfect for active pursuits (hiking, trekking, mountaineering, backcountry skiing, etc)
It is not super warm, like denser filled down vests (see RAB's "Microlight" vest for an example), but is very breathable due to synthetic fill and softshell side panels; and makes a good mid-layer for cold winter days or an outer layer for more cool s... Read more
