These were purchased to replace a pair of Marmot Pre-cip rain pants and found they far exceed them, I brought them on a 8 day backpack trip where they really came through. I had a 10 year old pair of REI rain pants that needed replacing pretty badly. This one caught my eye because I am short and needed rain pants with a short inseam. I needed an extra pair of comfortable rain gear. Good basic rain pants at a good price.Sizing a bit small. Will definitely keep you dry but hard toget over shorts once you get wet. I would order a size up for room. Otherwise they were a good buy.
