The Sawtooth Pant is an extremely versatile, light-weight softshell pant, using Matrix DWS fabric for high levels of wind resistance and breathability.
Whilst the Sawtooth Pant is particularly suited for use as a durable summer climbing pant, features such as reinforced crampon patches and a fleece lined waistband enable these pants to be worn for ski touring and general mountain across all seasons. 4 YKK zipped pockets - 2 hand pockets and 2 thigh pockets - provide secure storage space and under-boot cord attachment loops ensures that the Sawtooth Pant remains comfortable and in position when performing technical manoeuvres.
This combination of technical features and light-weight versatility has seen the Sawtooth Pant become a favourite amongst the Rab team and our sponsored athletes.

This is a great pant for climbing in cool temperatures but lacks some versatility due to the lack of an expandable lower cuff. While not quite on the par with high end gear like Arc'teryx these are still, absolutely, worth the money. Comfortable, good gusseting, strong, waterproof - these are a permanent addition to my late spring, summer and early fall, climbing clothing.
No, they do not. You can still use these for ski touring if you don't plan on tromping through deep snow without your skis or in the spring when the snow is more consolidated.
