Just received this today. It is made of Pertex Quantum material and appears to me to be the Rab Cirrus (which was discontinued) in about every aspect. Very light. Packs into own pocket, athletic fit, snug fit under arms in what seems to be a pretty typical Rab fashion. For reference I'm 6'0, 202lbs. I got the XL because I intend to use it over a light weight fleece. Foods great... Read more

This is the same pattern and feature set as the Windveil, in slightly lighter Quantum fabric. A very nice deal. Athletic fit, great simple hood, hand pockets above hip belt. The upper tab snap which makes it into a cape is actually useful. Not as breathable as more modern options but solid in the cold.

Just confirming the other review, this is made of Quantum Pertex. Weight for the medium is 126g.
Front pockets are capacious but mesh backs, so if you sweat the contents will get soaked. There is one interior pocket that is quite small, maybe a wallet would fit. Also mesh and has two snap closures, so don't put your wallet in it. :)
No stuff pocket, not designed to roll into ... Read more

It is trim fit. I suggest sizing up. I own several Rab garments in Large (I'm 210lb 43" chest), but in Wind jacket XL fits me without much room to spare. I can comfortably put it on the top of thin base layer or button-up shirt. O... Read more

So far only have used it once, but worked great! Definitely size up one size. The non adjustable hood doesn’t really seem to be a problem. Like the fact that it has a fairly large inside pocket, which for a windbreaker is unusual.

This jacket is very light and waterproof. In addition, packing is very small and can be carried at any time. However, the part with a slightly long arm is a disadvantage. It is recommended for those who need a light waterproof jacket.
