A great item
I have been carrying one of these for close to 10 years on backpacking trips. I use it as a tent peg hammer, a ground bed leveler and digger/scraper (sticks and stones and small lumps) and to chop away protruding roots or thorny vegetation which could puncture a sleeping pad. Everytime I leave it behind to save weight (not much) I regret it. Bought these 2 for gifts for hiking buddies.

Great Gift!!!!
I purchased several of the shovels for gifts, and HAD to have on of my own!!! Not only is it perfect for camping, I have found Multiple uses around the house as well.... Landscaping, planting, pruning are all made easier with this one convenient tool!!!! Thrilled that I got one for myself!!!!
