Katadyn Alpine Aire Foods Kung Pao Chicken - Serves 2

Spent over 120 trail nights this past season. AlpineAir foods provide a variety unmatched by other providers. I thrive on variety and Kung Pao Chicken is great addition to menu. Spicy hot and filling. Only downside is that it increases thirst, so if your 20 miles from your next water source, have something else. Having this for dinner after a 10-12 hour day is a highlight!

Apparently, AlpineAire thinks that Kung Pao Chicken means pasta, peanuts, and oh, yeah, chicken. I had to look hard to find the pieces of chicken, since I couldn't taste them. They're smaller than the peas. This gelatinous swill tastes nothing like any Kung Pao you've ever had. It doesn't even taste like any Chinese food you've ever had. I'd bet that people in Chinese prisons would trade this for cigarettes. Cigarettes taste better.
