Just returned from backpacking in Door County, WI. The Aries 3 was both lightweight and on sale so I figured I'd try it. Great tent for the price. It looks great naked, with tons of black mesh which makes stargazing super fun and easy. In fact the tent feels more like a mosquito net with poles and a floor. But, slap a rain fly on and bam, it's a super water resistant, insulated feel even though it is very odd shaped to look at. After 24 hours of continuous rain mid trip, I stayed completely dry inside and the extended vestibule was large enough for my boots and gold coins. Happy customer.
