This mat inflates quickly and is very comfortable. The built in pillow area offers additional height when combined with a camp pillow. The surface holds the sleeping bad in place and the bottom is anti slip and works well. I use it on the floor and on my extra large cot and it does well with both. Not a backpacking mat but a great car, canoe camping mat.
