Most Helpful Positive Review very comfortable
This mat inflates quickly and is very comfortable. The built in pillow area offers additional height when combined with a camp pillow. The surface holds the sleeping bad in place and the bottom is anti slip and works well. I use it on the floor and on my extra large cot and it does well with both. Not a backpacking mat but a great car, canoe camping mat.

Very comfortable

Love the size. Very comfortable. Quick to air in. Didn't have a chance to use it yet outdoors but my daughter's sleepover went well since they didn't sleep on the floor anymore :) Season is not over yet in Oregon few more weekend to go camping !

Too narrow

My 10-year old daughter did not like this pad. It was too narrow and she did not feel comfortable sleeping on it. Her L.L. Bean sleeping bag is 33" wide, and this pad is only 25". Too bad they chose these narrow dimensions; I'm not sure who would want a pad this narrow when it's uncomfortable for a child. We will have to pay more for the Large sizes for our children, (which we had originally purchased for my husband and me.)

Awesome Sleeping System

We combined two of these XL pads with two Large Alps Mountaineering Escalade Cots and slept like babies on a recent camping trip. Almost like being at home on our $5000 mattress. The pads self-inflate really well but you can easily blow in a little more air with your mouth to get an even better feel. If you're worried about the feet of the cot messing up your tent floor, go to Home Depot and get some free "4x"4 carpet samples. We did and it worked great! We had old cots we had suffered with for awhile. This was a great purchase! And as always Campsaver is really the best to work with in all regards!

not 3 inches

My husband has the thermarest MAP luxury but I could not justify spending that much money so I ordered this one. It was only half the thickness and the 2nd valve did not work. I am returning this item.
