It is probably a fine product, just not featherlite, and does inflate as described.

nice lightweight pad

by David, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on November 6, 2017
The pad came in just a couple days. The size and weight is great for what we are doing. I got this pad as a gift for one of my boys and one for myself. I am also a Boy Scout scoutmaster. We are mostly doing short (1 mile or so) hikes and an overnight when we camp. We have a very young troop. This pad is nice compared to the self inflating one I have been using

Decent pad for the money

by Mike M., Verified Owner from GA, United States Written on June 20, 2017
This pad is a decent pad for the money but too much trouble to blow up... took almost 3 minutes using the built in "pump". Would be much better using a sack type devise to inflate. Would not recommend this pad.

Quality product

by Eric, from MT, United States Written on June 15, 2017
Provides a comfy place to sleep, is fairly lightweight, and doesn't take up much space. I got this on sale, and would definitely recommend this as a great bang for the buck. My only complaint so far is the built in hand pump. I get the idea, and it seems cool, but the execution leaves a little to be desired. First off, it adds unnecessary weight, and takes up space. Also, it is incredibly slow. I end up blowing it up through the release valve. Much faster. Then, I'll finish it off with the pump, if it needs a little more. Other than that, no complaints; great product.

Solid pad.

Pretty solid pad. Couldn't ask much more for the price. Wish it was a little bit smaller and weighed a but less but still a decent pad.

Work great and light weight.

by William H., Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on March 31, 2016
Work great and light weight. Easy to pump up and have a great 3.5 in of cushion. Seems pretty thin though so not sure how it'll do on rougher surfaces.

Featherlite Air Pad

by Cg H., Verified Owner from VA, United States Written on March 12, 2016
The name is misleading since the pad weighs 25oz - not my definition of featherlite.
However, it is 3.5 inches once inflated, so I am looking forward to testing out the pad next weekend.

best value

by Gnap, from CA, United States Written on November 6, 2015
Excellent offering from alps mountaineering. Not the lightest but for the price you get a quality lightweight pad that will give about 3 inch of cushion from the ground. i purchased this with the alps foam pad and it works excellent together. highly recommend this product!
