Most Helpful Positive Review I'll only buy this camp chair
After buying a pair of these chairs, we've been the envy of anyone who tries sitting in the King Kong chair. It's so spacious and sturdy that everyone just feels good sitting in it. We've bought a fleet of these chairs and even use them at family gatherings when we need more seating. Highly recommen...

Most Helpful Negative Review Totally uselles after exposure to the sun. Should be prohibited to sell in southern states.
After half a year of exposure to the sun all the material under the hems got totally ruined. I am wondering is it so hard to add UV protection, or use same material as chair itself? Total waist of money, very disappointed.

Awesome chair, even better price!

by finsterlee, Verified Owner from UT, United States Written on April 10, 2022
So big and comfy. I didn't want to pay $80 for the major outdoor store's version, so I came here and found this! My son even uses it as a regular chair in his bedroom. Definitely recommend. We ended up getting two for the price of one. Much sturdier than the basic Walmart chairs too. Car camping should be comfy!

Large man secure chair

by Tomahawk Splitter, Verified Owner from WA, United States Written on October 29, 2021
We used to have big heavy duty wooden chairs for our friends who were +4 spins.. you know what I'm saying. Anyway one tried this and he felt confident enough to plop down in it and sit for a few hours. It can be too big if you are a kid or petite guy but then you wouldnt be looking at this would you.

Sturdy and Comfortable

by Rich, from WI, United States Written on October 17, 2021
This is a large and comfortable chair. I don't need the extra width, but for those who do, this will come in handy. The frame construction is solid. It has a fair amount of weight but is easy to carry for most situations. I wouldn't want to carry it up a mountain hike but how many people are looking to do that. Delivery was on schedule

First order and very happy.

by Redmurray, Verified Owner from SD, United States Written on October 6, 2021
This chair lives up to it's name. I'm 6 foot, 217 pounds and the chair is solid and comfortable. It's not a chair that you carry around for any distance but it will be a great camp fire addition. The price is great, basically a BOGO. If the other colors go sale I'll buy a couple more. Fast shipping and great prices.
Pros:
  • Rugged built
Cons:
  • Heavy, not for long hikes
Best Used for:
  • trailer camping

Comfy and strong

by Toomy, from NY, United States Written on August 24, 2021
The item was shipped and delivered very fast. CampSaver is an excellent choice to shop for high quality and affordable items. They have it all so if you forgot it, they have it.
The Alps folding chair is the same as a much more expensive piece. It is easy to open, strong like a rock and not all that heavy. The carry bag is equipped with dual shoulder straps to make transport easy.
Pros:
  • Very solid and well built.
  • Very solid, well built can hold a lot of weight.
Cons:
  • NONE
Best Used for:
  • Camping and outdoor events.

Mighty Kong !!

by Gricha, from CT, United States Written on December 4, 2020
These are by far the best camp chair out there! My original is still going strong 8 years later, decided it was time to get another for the camp. The weight rating is up there600#, but the best part is the wide spacious seat, super comfortable quilted 600d poly able to withstand years of prolonged UV exposure. Get them while you can

  • Anything requiring sitting

Heavy duty camp chair

by mega2amiga, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on October 27, 2020
Big and sturdy but HEAVY chair. If you are looking for a chair for camping look for a more lightweight chair. Difficult to get back into the carry bag, but overall worth the money. Wide and large base, dual cup holders, heavy denier nylon fabric and sturdy joint connectors. Campsaver has a great price!
Pros:
  • Sturdy and built to last
  • Large capacity
  • dual cup/phone holders
Cons:
  • heavy and bulky
Best Used for:
  • Outdoor activities

Best camp chair

by Outdoor Seeker, from MN, United States Written on September 15, 2020
No other camp chair needed. After several other brand failures I needed a durable chair at the cabin to use by the fire pit, on the deck or at the river bank. I also needed a chair for car camping. This fills all my checklists and is comfy besides. I can actually slouch down a bit and rest my head on the back comfortably. I don't have to worry about big rough and tumble friends breaking it. So far in the two months I've had it I've been pleased, from WI backwoods cabin to Wyoming mountains camping.
Pros:
  • Durable and comfy
Cons:
  • Still looking for them.
Best Used for:
  • Cabin or car camping
Would recommend: Yes
