Bought 2 sidekicks to use in camp as eating tables in front the alps small camp chair and at home in front of a recliner. Great industrial design look for in home. Sturdy as a table for a plate a cup. great compact fold design.

Compact and strudy

I like using this little folding stool for a small camping table as well as stool. Use caution if used as a step stool since it has a small footprint and can be a little wobbly.

Alps Sidekick Stool

I bought this table years ago and find it so handy that I decided to get another one. Now I have one I use just at home and the other I take with me camping or for painting out in the field. It is unbelievably lightweight, looks nice, folds up easily, and takes very little space when stored. In the field, sometimes I use it for sitting, with a thermarest pad on top, and sometimes I use it as a table. It’s much more comfortable to sit on than the 3-legged collapsable stools with a triangular seat.

Best little stool ever!

We snagged the last of these at a retail store last year and use the crap out of it for just about everything! It became the go-to little side table used everywhere in the house and an emergency stool for extra seating. Since it never made it out of the house for a camping trip since it was always in use, we bought a couple more for it's actual intended purpose. Lightweight and folding completely flat, it has quickly become an indispensable item.
