It's not the lightest or most compact tent out there, but works great for a casual backpacker like myself. I hike with my Rottweiler and it fits us perfectly. It's well made with sturdy zippers and packs down pretty well considering it's size. Roomy vestibules and the dual doors allow for wonderful ventilation. I used an ultralight trekking pole tent (that cost twice as much) last year, and while it's less than half the weight, it was finicky, fragile, and a tight squeeze. I much prefer packing the Zephyr when going out with my dog. I've had no problems with it.

Arrived in perfect shape. Set it up at work to test it out and it was very easy to do. Great tent.

This tent is well-made, easy to setup, and very comfortable... if you're camping alone. I've done overnights with my wife in it and there isn't enough spare room for a shoe once both our sleeping bags are rolled out. That doesn't bother us, but some people might like a little more space to stretch out when they sleep. Solo camping is fantastic with this tent. There's enough room for my gear, bag and pad, and sitting space. I'd have no problem spending a longer stretch in this tent by myself. Leaving the rain tarp off on nice nights gives you a great breeze and a beautiful view of the night sky. If you get stuck in rain, there's enough room to sit, move around, organize gear, etc. Really nice tent for the price.

I've come to accept the fact, for me, to subtract the number of people quoted by one to get the actual size of a tent. The Zephyr 2 is somewhat of an exception. Its perfect for me and my dog. However, because of two doors and vestibules it will work for two people. Most 2 person tents have one entrance and vestibule. This will work for two. Excellent quality. All around no-see-um mesh for camping in the South. Another thing I like about this tent is the poles are shorter than most, which gives you more options for packing. Get the floorsaver and you have quick pitch capability for shade or bad weather. Great tent.

I used this tent on a recent trip into the wilderness. I slept in it alone. Calling this a two-person tent is a stretch. It would be really "cozy" for two people. If two normal sized adult males slept in this tent, you'd have to be very good friends or more. However, I did really like the side-entry door (it has one on both sides) very much; it was very easy to get in and out. It rained very hard
