Comfortable for my wide foot! - Altra Arrows Lone Peak 3.0 Mid Polartec NeoShell Hiking Boot - Men's

Training for JMT through hike. I originally got talked into $250 Vasque boots and after 20 training miles I had pain on my toes and blisters on my heels. Even aftermachine stretching the leather, I still couldn’t tolerate them. Bought these NeoShell Altra boots and they worked great out of the box. I tried inserts, but promptly took them out and put the stock ones back in. I’ve been training for 2 months in these and have done some steep rugged trails with class 2 rock scrambling in wet terrain. My feet were comfy and dry. No blisters, no rub on my pinky toes. So happy with this pair that I bought another pair to use on the trip. My first pair will be pretty beat up by August.
