Altra’s were recommended to me after having a painful metatarsal issue that is now completely healed due to the roomy tie box in these shoes. I use these runners for long walks and short runs and can leave them on all day. Also bought a pair of their hikers which have the large toe box as well as really comfortable/padded ankle support.
