I searched a long time for a durable pair of walking shoes that I could use anywhere. I settled on the Antra Lone Peak 4 based on the design and what I thought of the construction from the photos. When they arrived I was immediately impressed. The build quality of these shoes are equal to shoes at any price. The sole and the insert provide a tremendous amount of cushion - I know that this will diminish over time but from the start it is truly like walking on air. I bought the orange ones and I love the color - not too bright more like a pumpkin than an orange. My first walk was a short 2 miles...

I bought these shoes because they were rated highest in all of the ultralight through-hiker reviews. However, I received these shoes and put them on and did not like the way the tongue of the shoe was designed. It is very short and pushes against the front of my shin/ankle. Also, the cut is too high around the ankles and rubs against my ankle bone on both sides. The shoes appear to be water resistant with a coating and makes the shoes pop and creek when walking (maybe after a break period they might stop making noise). I missed this when buying them as they are referred to RSM (rain, snow, mud); not sure that is needed in a low-top trail running/hiking shoe. This is definitely on me since I didn't know what RSM meant until I received them and it was listed on a tag tied to the shoe.
The toe box definitely has a lot of room in them.
Great gaiter connections on the shoe, which allow for many different styles of gaiters.
Pros:
Soft sole.
Wide toe box.
Great gaiter connection points on the shoes.
Cons:
Tongue on shoe to short.
Cut around ankle too high.
Water coating makes shoe noisy.
Best Used for:
Not sure yet, I am not confident in the shoe to take them hiking, because I don't want to blister my ankles until I can thoroughly break them in to see what happens.

Great cushioned trail running shoe with wide toe box. Rain Snow Mud allows this to be all weather shoe. Attractive shoe in neutral colors. Highly recommended. An improvement over the 3.0 series as it is even more comfortable. Sole very grippy.
Pros:
cushioned
