Alta lone peak 4 mid mesh
Love altras. I always wear an 8 in this brand, giving myself a bit of room for swelling. This pair I had to get a 7.5.....take note. Comfortable, durable and neutral color. I would prefer hook and eye for the top laces but nothing is perfect.

Most comfortable shoe!!
From the very first time I tried them on, these were amazingly comfortable! I often have difficulty due to ligament reconstruction surgery on one ankle, especially when going for a 'mid' range shoe. But these feel great right out of the box!

Love altras
Re Altras, I have had the best luck with and regularly wear the Lone Peak, Paradigm, and now these guys. So happy to have a hiker that is truly foot shaped. I pretty much can't/refuse to wear any shoe that isn't foot shaped after getting used to Altras. I'm in my 30s and have had foot pain since I was a kid, and these are the only shoes that really give my feet a break. I can actually do stuff without thinking about my feet - might sound minor but it's a big deal for me.
