Most excellent shoes. Roomy toe box. Best shoes I've worn in years! I've had problems finding the "Goldilocks" shoes and these are "just right." Service with Camp Saver was great! I was thrilled when I discovered the shoes on sale. This is my second pair that I purchased as back up since Altra will not be making them any more.

Roomy, comfy trail shoes

The teal lone peak trail shoe is lightweight, roomy in the toe box, breathable, enough arch support & comfortable. I ordered a size 10 because I like to have @ least a thumb distance from my big toe to the end of the shoe. I have another pair of lone peak, wine color size 10 & knew they were roomy in the toe box & perhaps a slight bit big. This pair feels larger. I could wear a 9.5 because of the room in the toe box. I will make it work. great for ultras, no knee issues & legs feel great.
Pros:
  • lightweight, roomy, breathable
Cons:
  • soft big toe support
Best Used for:
  • Trail - run, race, hike, rain, etc.
