Great shoes
I would definitely recommend these shoes to whoever is looking for a good road running shoe, walking shoe, or just a shoe you can be on your feet all day long with and still feel great at the end of the day. I've bought these multiple times and worn them until they wear out because I like them that much. They have adequate support, a spacious toe box, and they're made by a more ethical and sustainable company than most athletic shoes.

Altra Provision 4
I have had the hardest time trying to find tennis shoes that did not wear a hole in the shoe where the ball of my foot would rub. This is my 2nd pair of Altras and I love them! They were made for me. The wear at the ball of my foot!!

change in sizing
the 7.5 is at least an inch longer than previous models. sizing is definitely a problem. previous 7.5 have fit well. colors could definitely be more appealing. disappointed to not find a good for in a road running shoe.

I love Altra shoes...or used to, maybe not so much now. I could not find Provision 3 anywhere, it appeared they upgraded to 4. I waited 8 weeks for this order. Not sure why they were even listed for sale if they were not available. I wear the Provision shoe because I wear orthotics. BUT they redesigned this shoe and the shoe is not as deep. It is long enough, in fact I have about an inch and a half extra room lengthwise. so a bigger size would not fix this. I ordered the same size as my other Altras...but this shoe is so tight it rubbed the top of my big toe raw...I am putting aquaphor and bandages on it to get it healed. I can not even use the orthotics I NEED. Why ruin things?
