I needed a pair of shoes where I can put in my insoles from Pinncale Power Step plus with an high arch and have a zero drop from heel to toe so I walk like on the beach... and after I bought those in 2018 and wore them almost the whole year for walking (we walk 3 times a day about 3-5 miles alltogether a day in average) I have to say they are the best shoes I ever had. I paid $95 back in 2018 and now when I saw them on sale I bought another set and believe it or not I saw on the website they dropped the price again for Black Friday so I said to my partner, do you want a pair too? and we now have orderd another for her and for me.. so I am getting 2 pairs now.. that will last me at least 2 years of shoes now... but hey, i could not resist...
the only thing i did not like at the beginnig was that the shoe does not have a thick sole to cover the shocks like some brooks adrenaline for example but if you want to walk on the beach then you are walking barefoot so so you just have to get used to it and you do pretty fast and it feels great..

I run 35 to 40 miles per week and have found the Solstice to be perfect for me. They have adequate cushion and fit true to size in my opinion. The wide toe box is a plus for me.
This is my fourth pair and I will continue purchasing unless they are discontinued.
