Reviews & Ratings for Arc'teryx Camosun Parka - Men's

Very simple design, but it is so warm! We just had -15 degree weather yesterday and my core was toasty. Now, I just need to get some gloves that work this well!

I did my research for the best cold weather parka and this came up as the Editor’s Choice selection without breaking the bank compared to their Top Pick selection, which you may already guessed. Anyway, I got it here on sale as I have been eyeing for quite sometime now. I’m not going through the details as you can search or YouTube on your own. My first impression is quite nice. I bought one sized up as trimmed fit seems to be snug like my other Arcteryx jackets. I have not field tested yet so can’t comment much on the pros and con. However, nothing is perfect but you outweigh the ones that matters most. I travel quite a bit whether CONUS or OCONUS and this is a nice addition.

Wow!!!!! Excellent product, they do run large so be careful with sizing. I'm 5'9 and 148lbs, a small with a base on is perfect. Very comfortable fit. Customer service is excellent, sent email about price difference and 5 hrs later saw adjustment. Will definitely come back to this store.
Pros:
Fit and comfort

I tried several of the urban line from this brand and enjoy this one the most. I also own ames jacket, This has a slightly trim fit which is perfect for my body type. I am 135lbs and 5'9" and the XS works perfect

This jacket is designed with minimal features (which is a plus for me) and very well constructed. It eliminates the bulkiness experience by other down jackets that have the down filling outside rather than inside like this jacket. This feature makes it suitable for any type of active use or just a jacket to wear around the city. The size runs a tad bit large. I am a medium towards borderline small (5’-9” and 178 lbs). The jacket I ordered was small (which is a size smaller than I usually wear) and it fit snugly. I prefer that type of fit, but if you layer up a lot, you might want to order your true size. Although, this jacket doesn’t need any layering underneath. It is super warm. One setback is that the material is a bit “noisy.” It makes a swooshing noise when moving around.
Pros:
Solid construction
Water & wind proof
minimalist design
Well insulated
Cons:
Material is a bit noisy
Best Used for:
casual wear
