I did my research for the best cold weather parka and this came up as the Editor’s Choice selection without breaking the bank compared to their Top Pick selection, which you may already guessed. Anyway, I got it here on sale as I have been eyeing for quite sometime now. I’m not going through the details as you can search or YouTube on your own. My first impression is quite nice. I bought one sized up as trimmed fit seems to be snug like my other Arcteryx jackets. I have not field tested yet so can’t comment much on the pros and con. However, nothing is perfect but you outweigh the ones that matters most. I travel quite a bit whether CONUS or OCONUS and this is a nice addition.

I was looking for a winter jacket and this jacket fits the bill. The description described it as trim-fit but it's normal fit. I normally wear XL and was worried as my other Arcteryx I had to go up one size. I bought it during summer when it's on sale and we'll see when I go up to the mountains during winter.

I love my Gamma MX Jacket. Jacket has "athletic fit", very true to size. It is breathable, but still blocks a good amount of wind. Warm, without being excessively hot. Slim, but still allows layering. The collar zips up tightly around the neck, preventing drafts, and the cuffs fit snugly around the wrists. The general build and quality of the Gamma MX reflects Arcteryx's reputation for combining technology and design to output the best adventure clothing. Nice, wonderful jacket for all seasons. The cost..of course it's Arcteryx. However, Campsaver has best price guarantee with 5% price match.
