The Cassiar is a terrific jacket for resort skiing. The jacket has some light insulation, and thoughtful features (e.g. snow shirt) for skiing. The fabric is soft and doesn't make a crinkly sound. Looks great around town, and breathes decently well given that it's a hard shell. Highly recommended!
Pros:
- COMFORT
- DURABILITY
- Features
- Utility

Great jacket - fits well but gives enough room to maneuver. The stretch fabric is great and the colors are good looking. Expensive but worth it. I compared this to many other jackets and this one clearly prevailed.

very well made jacket. Stylish, high quality and durable. may fit a little small for ample layering but i would recommend ordering a size larger than you normally order and the jacket should fit right with base layers.

Slim, but stretchy & comfy in a way that doesn’t compromise movement or prevent layering. Not nearly as light or versatile as a shell, but perfect for intended use. Perfect with just a mid base layer from 20 degrees F to freezing, fine to high 30s with a lighter base layer. Works and pairs perfectly with the same named pants.

Other than the cost, I really can't complain about this shell. It fits great, keeps me warm/dry, and looks good too. You get what you pay for.

There is no better shell on the market than this one. From materials quality to fit to general durability and good looks. A simple wool under-layer is all that I needed for 10 below weather. The jacket stretches and gives well in more active situations and allows a snug fit.
