Expert Review Great for layering - Arc'teryx Delta LT Hoody - Men's

After looking around for a while for a versatile mid layer for splitboarding tours and hiking, I decided to go with this hoody. The slightly relaxed fit makes it easy to add extra layers under it for extra chilly days without skimping on the classic Arc'teryx ergonomic fit that we all love because it doesn't restrain movement. It packs down small and weighs next to nothing but manages to provide a solid amount of warmth.
I took it up Logan Canyon in northern Utah on a splitboarding tour to try it out and it was everything I hoped and dreamed of. I went up at the end of March, so the sun was shining and the snow was slushy. There was a bit of a breeze so it wasn’t quite tee shirt weather but despite working up a sweat, the hoody was completely dry when we reached the summit. Even where my pack had been touching my back, there wasn’t a single place where any sweat had soaked through.
All in all, I plan on taking this hoody with me on many splitboarding tours to come and highly recommend it to anyone who’s after a mid layer that’s light, warm, and wicks moisture quickly.
