Needed a cold weather downhill ski pant and purchase Arcteryx Macao Pant in Medium ( 5’10, 180 lbs, 34 waist). Going to the next size of large would have been to big. The mediums just fit but performed very well even in long back bowl hikes. Used it 16 days this season so far from -13F to 25F degrees and I was never cold. A thin base layer underneath was only needed in these conditions. Great pants!
