I have only used on one trip thus far, but it lived up to it's rep and price point. Multi-day hike of Mt. Washington with cold rain to blue-bird hot days. As far as rain is concerned, it's waterproof. I didn't toss it into any streams or in the tub, but performed flawlessly in rainy conditions.
