Light and Tough
These are the first pair ok Arc'teryx I've owned, usually use Brooks shoe for trail running. They are a good deal lighter with 8/10 arch support. The Ortholite insole is 7/10 comfortable after it gets warm enough to conform to your foot but does afford a very good feel of the ground while providing a stable platform on uneven terrain. Traction is excellent, better than Brooks, and the lacing system with attached tongue is comfortable and does an exceptional job of keeping water out.
Pros:
- light, rugged, waterproof
Cons:
- not as comfortable as other trail shoes.
Best Used for:
- Outdoor/Severe Weather hiking and running
Would recommend: Yes
