super light rain shell.

It's obviously not Beta or Alpha so if you are looking to get a Beta or Alpha for less money, you may not be happy with this jacket.
Sleeves run to my knees, but that's easy to fix because the sleeves have no cuffs. just a bit of elastic..pretty basic
It can be worn on a hike, in the city or simply as a rain jacket. This is meant to be an emergency shell and is not as durable and the LT or AR

Excellent Shell

This is a great rain shell. Kept me dry under pretty heavy downpours and was light enough to pack away and not bother me when it wasn't needed. I have a few others that are ever so slightly heavier and somehow bulkier. I prefer this one by far.

Men's Arcteryx Zeta FL

Great product. Purchased for light rain gear for running/hiking/biking for it's close-to-the-body protection. Unfortunately the men's cut is very wide at the waist/thorax, completely losing the close to the body feel. Will be returning for a women's style to reduce excess material.

It was a gift to my father in law. Also I bought one for my father too.
He really satisfied with this product and the shape is awesome. If next time with big sale I should buy one.
Recommended.

Just like the name Fast and Light

I got this jacket a week ago. Its super light, waterproof and wind resistant as designed. The night I wore it I had a T shirt on and this jacket. It was aprox 50*F so it was a little chilly because I didnt have a base layer or jacket on. I intend to wear my Cerium SL Hoody or Atom LT Hoody under this rain shell. Which in my mind should be a great combo.

  • Bit pricey
  • little noisy
Best Used for:
  • light to medium rain and wind
