Reviews & Ratings for Arc'teryx Theta AR Jacket - Men's
— 4 reviews — Page 1
This is a great jacket. The design is modern and is at home as much on the trail as it is at the pub on a rainy night. It is only let down by the noise of the outer shell - think grease-proof paper. The noise and indeed the nylon-feel of the outer layer of this jacket makes it feel cheap, which of course it isn't. As far as style goes, it is up there with the best of my jackets - Westcomb, Mont

Love my Arc’teryx Beta AR but found there was insufficient blank in the jacket to affectively cover my hips and butt when I was hiking in the rain. This jacket takes my only gripe with the Beta AR and fixes it. Craftsmanship and quality is on par with the rest of the Arc’teryx products I own. Definitely a necessary piece of kit and probably the one jacket I would own if I could only have one Arc’teryx jacket. As others have mentioned, it’s not a quiet jacket but most Goretex jackets aren’t and the durability definitely trumps any minuscule issue I have with it being slightly noisy.
Best Used for:
Hiking, outdoor activity

I'm 6'1", 185lbs. Jacket little pricey. However, love it. I got a medium. Perfect fit by itself or with a mid layer. To add any more layer is doable but will start to feel tight. I did try large before settling on medium but felt that large was way too big. Use it during last winter break skiing. It rain 3 out of 5 days. This shell was the perfect choice since the temperature during this trip vary from 20's to 50's. it kept me dry and comfortable the whole time. Campsaver is a great place to buy gear in my experience. Bought stuffs from them many time and never ever had any issue.
