Most Helpful Positive Review Best backpacking rain jacket...
If you have the money...spend a little more on this jacket..Arcterex quality, lightweight and DOESN'T expand for a helmet if you don't need one. I've learned over time that it's best to spend more and get everything that you want than save and do without and if it doesn't live up to your expectations...Campsaver.com is the best for returning items.

good product

I like this product.
I like them all, but the length is a bit long.
When I go hiking, I fold the bottom part a little.
You have to shorten the hem tightly.
There is no problem with material or functionality.
I'll wear it well.

Great jacket

This jacket is so good. I am expecting to wear this jacket this summer and winter.
I want some more product of arcteryx on Campsaver.com.

I usually wear M size and ordered this jacket in small size.
But for me, the sleeves of the jacket are a little long.

Zeta LT the Do it all jacket.

by Proc, from AL, United States Written on May 24, 2021
This is an amazing part of any kit for warm to cool weather outdoor activities. The fit was slightly larger than the Beta lt which i found a bit odd, but in the long run works better for layering. Some have issues with the lack of pit zips but i didn't find the lack of them an issue. All in all a great shell well made and seemingly durable.

Rad jacketbut the jury is still out on the pocket zippers

by SeaGooner, Verified Owner from WA, United States Written on December 8, 2017
Its just what you'd expect from Arc'Teryx. Beautifully made, nice looking, and really well cut. I'm 6'2" & 190 lbs. and a medium fits me perfectly. As advertised, its very lightweight and much quieter than most shells. I haven't had the occasion to test it out yet in a downpour while hiking or exerting myself in some other way, so I can't comment on its breathability until later, but based on other reviews, and the quality & design level that you can expect from Arc'Teryx, I'm optimistic that this will be a great jacket.

I'd have given it 5 stars, but the one thing I haven't figured out is why they have you pull down on zippers for the hand pockets to close them. I've never had a technical jacket designed this way so I'm hoping there is a good reason for it that I'll figure out. If there isn't a good reason it would be a pretty big design faux-pas in my mind. Zipping down to open means when you need to get to something quickly you can always open the pocket one handed without worrying about the fabric bunching and stopping the zipper from sliding. Zipping down to close means you'll likely need two hands to open the pocket, and that if you accidentally don't close it all the way, or a branch snags your zipper pull and opens the pocket up by an inch or two, that any small items in your pocket are much more likely to fall out than with the conventional, zip down to open, configuration.
Pros:
  • Lightweight
  • Great build quality
  • Excellent fit
Cons:
  • pricey
  • Questionable pocket zippers
Best Used for:
  • Rainy days

Fit is too large

by Hans, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on November 30, 2017
I'm 5'7" and 125 lbs. This fits more like a (small) men's medium than a men's small. Arcteryx could have patterned the cut to be a lot more trim without sacrificing movement or layering ability. Or alternatively created a XS piece. The design otherwise looks really solid - unfortunately due to the size issue, I had to return it without field testing it.

Build quality and materials are spectacular and fitting of apparel in this price range.
