Good Trail Runner/Hiker
This is my second pair of these shoes. I've used them on slickrock in Arches and Canyonlands, to the top of a 14er in Colorado, backpacking in Point Reyes, and numerous day hikes. Good foot protection, no significant wear issues. Solid shoe.

Gel-Fuji Delivers from Roads-end to Mountain-peaks!
I have been running road miles and marathons in my Asics GT-1000's for years, and was ready to transition to trail running. The Gel-Fuji Endurance seemed like a good shoe choice, and with a similar Asics structure and foot-bed, my feet barely noticed the change. The moderately aggressive out-sole inspired confidence with traction on steep, technical climbs and descents, and the PlasmaGuard performed well in mud and water, without overheating my feet. On rocky trails, the Rock Protection Plate combined with the substantial toe guard saved my forefeet and toes from bruising or injury. These shoes provided adequate comfort and cushion to allow me to go from doorstep to foothills to mountain peaks with no problem. They are a great addition to my shoe closet!
