Great shoes

Great shoes- nice look and fit though maybe a tad narrow for my wife feet. Nice slim profile for a rugged shoe - will be smaller to pack than the Merrells these shoes replace. Nice suede-like finish with goretex, nice laces, and textured rubber sole. These took a while to arrive (a month I'd guess) but campsaver sent me an email when they were shipped and once that happened they arrived promptly. Very good price though compared to other sites so it was worth the wait.

Best shoes ever.

Comfortable, agile, waterproof, breathable, all terrain all season shoes- these are my favorite all around dogs ever. Know however that they are made for bouldering in the mountains and have a somewhat soft, sticky sole, so you're like a goat in tricky terrain, but the soles wont last all too long stomping around in the city. I can't help it though, I wear them all the time, and when my travels take me from far mountains to city clubs and back again I only need this one pair of shoes for the whole trip.

disappointed

I did contact Asolo to question the fit and feel of the Agent GV- I wear the Fugitive GTX daily and was looking for a daytime shoe.They thought that I would be happly with the Agent GV.
The Agent fit much too snug. I am accustomed to the foot hugging characterists of the Fugitive Gtx
The Agent GV is strangeling tight.
Asolo did indicate that they were not making the size 11 for awhile. Meaning a problem with this size only??

Agent GV Hiking Shoe

I got these shoes mostly for winter/wet weather use. Seems like a sturdy well-built shoe, but I've only been wearing for two weeks so only time will tell. The shoe fits well and is true to size; relatively comfortable with good support, but shoe is fairly stiff. Only negative is that there are some pressure points on top of the foot from laces digging in, so need to keep them loose and readjust until shoe breaks in - hopefully it does.

Get 2 pairs!

Very comfortable shoes, right out of the box. This is my 2nd pair. Good for day hikes in backcountry, slush, ice, and desert sands, rocky terrain, etc.
