Long used brand
Asolo has been the go to brand of choice for my significant other for years. This boot fits great, needs no breaking in, handles rough rocky terrain and lasts almost a year which equates to three 4 mile hikes a week.

I had a pair similar to these that lasted a decade of hard use. I found these boots and ordered them hoping for a similar fit and comfort as the last Asolo boots I had. I consider Asolo my favorite boot for my daily activities. I received these boots and put them on immediately and went for a walk, they are amazingly comfortable right out of the box and fit just as good as my previous Asolo boots but lighter. Over the last few days of walking on concrete, I can say they are worth the cost, the soles have good enough impact to run on concrete. The sole pattern should work good for slippery mud and they are built for rugged abuse. Quality, fit, and comfort all meet my standards.
