I love these boots. Great traction, great fit right out of the box. I looked long and hard for a light hiking boot that could make it through the winter months in Vermont and was good looking enough to wear anywhere short of a fancy dinner. I also needed them to be easy to get in and out of, as I have kids and need transitions in and out of the house to be quick. The lacing system is amazing. Tightens up with one pull and ready to go. They are a little slippery and require a double knot, but the trade off is that they cinch up really quickly through the eyelets. I wear between a size 12-13, tried both, and went with the 12. It has a roomy toe box, so it's pretty much the perfect fit, snug everywhere except the toes, but not with the goofy look of a keen. I've just worn them around town a few days, but can't wait to get out on the real rugged trail with them.
