I love these boots. Great traction, great fit right out of the box. I looked long and hard for a light hiking boot that could make it through the winter months in Vermont and was good looking enough to wear anywhere short of a fancy dinner. I also needed them to be easy to get in and out of, as I have kids and need transitions in and out of the house to be quick. The lacing system is amazing. Tightens up with one pull and ready to go. Wears like Iron.

I previously wore Danner for my previous life in law enforcement. I tend to be conservative, but was trying to get away from tacticool basic black. I wanted Fugitives, but they were just not for daily wear. I found a pair of Asolo Falcons in Blueberry at the local REI. I’ve been wearing them daily for over a year and just bought my second pair. They wear well, are super comfortable, look good almost anywhere. Don’t hesitate, pull the trigger great boots

Perfect right out of the box

These are absolutely amazing. I buy more shoes and clothes that I return most of the time but right out of the box it was WOW... I'm keeping these! Extremely comfortable. I also purchased the Fugitives and had them on side by side. Significantly lighter but not as rigid. My previous Fugitives lasted 10 years and were a regular width and took a long time to break in. I opted for a wide on those which were much better but stayed with a regular width on the Falcon's and they're perfect. Very happy with these.

Falcon GV GTX

Perfect fit right out of the box. Excited to try them on the trail. Weight deferential with my stand-by Danner Light II was the decision factor for me. Easily shaved 1 to 1/ 1/2 lbs off per foot. Too old or too smart to be lugging that much weight around below the ankles. I will use them exclusively for backpacking. Too expensive to wear around town.

Just what my feet need

My order for the hiking boots arrived when they were promised. Sadly I did not order them UNTIL AFTER returning from my recent 14 mile to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. This boots are very light and comfortable with good ankle support and probably would have made the hike more comfortable.
