I have only had these shoes a short time so if needed I will update this.these shoes are very comfortable right out of the box , very well made and quite light weight I purchased these shoes for my daily 4 to 5 mile hikes in the woods the terrain is hilly , loose rock,gravel , mud etc...and several water crossings , I have only been out in them twice but so far they have good grip , very comfortable and light on my feet and definitely waterproof as long as the water doesn't get in at the ankle , the fit is excellent for me , wider toebox and just generally a wider fit , I used to wear Salomon x ultra 2 I loved them , fit perfect but cannot get them anymore and the replacement model just doesn't fit right , too narrow , I have had asolo shoes in the past and the price on these was excellent so I took a chance and so far I am pleased with them.
