For reference, I live in Golden, CO and I'm lucky enough to be able to hike local trails directly from my home. I hike between 5 & 10 miles most days on trails with mixed terrain (compact earth, mud, sand, crushed granite, rock gardens, boulders, etc.). My intention for writing this review is to help everyone looking for a hiking shoe understand that this is not it, without them having to go through the hassle that I did. In my experience, this shoe is not a typical Asolo hiking shoe. It is much too flimsy and akin to hiking in boat shoes. These shoes offer very little support and unfortunately you feel every stone/pebble under your foot on the trail leading to early fatigue and increased risk of stone bruising. In addition, the shoe laces come untied easily which becomes annoying rather quickly. These are great looking shoes for walking around town but not good for hiking on any trail. Therefore, I DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR HIKING OF ANY KIND.
Pros:
Great looking
Cons:
Feel Everything Through Thin Soles
Little Support
Laces Become Untied Easily
Not A Hiking Shoe
Best Used for:
Walking Around Town
Would recommend: No
