It's lightweight and slim for all-suede boots. There wasn't any hotspots for my first hike in them. The hike was very warm and the boots felt quite breathable. However I wasn't able to test them under wet conditions. The boots have weak arch support. If you do need them, consider swap for a more supportive foot-bed. I have wide and flat feet and wears 6 wide Chacos. Size 7 fits alright.
