Used these boots right out of the box. They fit my feet very well. I bought a 10 medium which is what I have always worn by U.S manufacturers, so when I noticed these boots were made overseas, I was concerned if these boots would fit to what I was accustomed to. But these boots fit my feet perfectly. There is room in the toe box to move my toes to move comfortably and the lace-up gussets wrap comfortably around my heel providing great support. I'm able to move my heel and yet the gussets prevent my heel from sliding up and down preventing blisters from forming. These boots are extremely well-m...

Enabler

These boots are the real deal. Don't know the thickness of the leather,
they have that silly gore-Texan lining, and if they stretch much they will
be worthless (How do you write a review on a new pair of boots?). But,
at this time, these puppies enable this old dog.

Apparently good fit for wide foot.

by Gregory S., Written on March 18, 2016
It's too early to truly assess the performance of these boots, but based on reputation they should fare exceptionally well over the long haul. I'm pleased to learn that Asolo's wide model seems to be appropriately proportioned for my feet. Every traditional width Asolo offering I've inspected is much too narrow in the forefoot for my E width foot.

The Best

by Ray D., from BC, Canada Written on July 8, 2015
I have been wearing the TPS 520 boot for about 8 yrs now they last me about 2yrs because I never wear anything else, and I am a little over weight but I'm very active LOL so these boots get a workout. They are the best for my money. My local shoe store lost his supplier of the asolo brand so I went online and found you,,,, if they quit making them I will be one sad customer.

Super Boots and Super Service

by Narcissus W., from NL, Canada Written on July 3, 2015
My 4th pair of Asolo boots and my third pair of the TPS 520's.
Great comfort; support and durability in the boots through several years- of year round -hiking and snowshoeing ...for me this one boot does it all. Pairing the boot with a good quality gaiter (OR Croc's) my feet stay comfortable; dry and blister free over many rocky and muddy sections of the East Coast Trail here in Newfoundland. I had little time to break the boots in before a recent week of hiking but they served me well -right out of the box - consistency in sizing from previous boots. Service from CampSaver was great with boots arriving a near the most easterly point in North America on;y 6 days after ordering. Price was fair and both boots and service were first rate. Nicely done.

Simply great boots

by Jay B., from NY, United States Written on December 23, 2014
I have owned around 8 pairs of these boots. I know some will think that must mean I am 95 if the boots are so great, but no the reality is I have three sons who all either currently or at some point shared boot sizes with me. So come Fall, they seem to disappear . The most comfortable out of the box boot I have ever purchased. From serious hiking in the Rockies to all day on my feet at a convention in Vegas these are what I have worn for 20 years. Do not ever stop making this boot!
