Reviews & Ratings for Astral Loyak Watersport Shoe - Mens
— 6 reviews — Page 1
I use this shoe for SUP and other water sports. It’s also light and compact enough that it works great as a camp shoe. I’ve used it backpacking and bikepacking. The rubber is very grippy. I felt secure on slippery river rocks.

I bought these as a rain shoe after my sneakers filled up with rain and made things miserable. They are comfortable and serve as an excellent water shoe. Light weight and low cut make for easy carry and storage. Camp Saver service was great as usual.

I have only used them as a casual shoe but they are great. I took the insole out of them and they are super minimalist. If thats not your thing the insoles provide enough cushion. The soles are sipped and are very sticky. They work well on slippery surfaces. They are also light and breathable. I wonder how long they will last with regular usage but it is still worth it.
Best Used for:
Minimalst shoes
Minimalist footwear

With a little effort I was able to get them on not wearing socks. I’m hoping they will stretch out a little. I’ve only walked around the house some and they are comfortable and very grippy. I’ll follow up with more info later. I intend to use them canoeing. I’ll be in and out of the water portaging a lot and I’ll see if they fit the bill.

I guess they're kind of for kayaking. Especially if you have trouble with room for your feet. They certainly are low profile.
I will be sing them as deck shoes boat shoes on a sailboat. I've only tried them on and they are comfortable. I expect the sole will give about as good of traction as possible on the boat deck.
