The best way to use this net is with a hat of some kind. Place it over you head and then there are two straps that go under your arms to press the opening of the net against your body. There is also a slide tightener so you can make the opening snug against your chest. I wore this and even wore a hiking backpack and didn't experience any discomfort at all. This did the trick.
