Most Helpful Positive Review Easy and delicious!
This dinner made our backpacking trip easy and it was delicious and filling. The fact that Campsaver has so many freeze dry dinner choices makes shopping for supper for the back country a pleasure. Cooking and cleanup is convenient too - super easy to make in the bag. After a long day of backpacking, you'll be happy you made this choice. A great hot Italian meal - Enjoy!

Great for cold nights

Good for getting that hot meal in your stomach on those cold camping nights. Also has noodles like regular stroganoff. Added benefit is the ziplock closure on the bag to seal it back up after you pour in the boiling water.

Yummy comfort food

This stuff should be an after school standard like Mac-n-Cheese. They should sell this recipe in easy serve bowls in grocery stores. It may not have much nutrition but there's something to be said for tasty comfort food in the wild or for everyday eating.

Decent taste...need to let it set longer

The noodles needed more time to soften than the time indicated. Otherwise this was a good meal.

Tasty, but personally, I like the Mountain House verson better. It is a tasty meal though and a good pick me up when you are traveling! Easy to perpare/ not messy/ quick clean up!

Too salty but good quantity

Used it backpacking for 4 of us. Each person ate a 2 person serving and it was plenty. However, so salty that all night we were all guzzling water and feeling bloated.
