This side dish/dessert requires multiple pots, ridiculous prep times (compared to other freeze dried backpacking meals), tedious steps like mixing and laying ingredients, and after all is said and done, it doesn't even taste good. The apples burned before the cobbler cooked. I even cooked this in a stove that has great low/heat simmer control.
It's obvious that this was designed by people who don't backpack. Stick to Mountain House.
