Lots of pepper
This breakfast was okay. I’m a decades long backpacker and have eaten too many freeze dried meals to count. I purchased this b/c it was a one-person serving. First, let me say it’s a generous portion - which is great. After adding the 12 ounces of boiling water I let it soak for twice the time called for - opening once to stir. The water never fully absorbed so it was more of a breakfast soup than a scramble. If it had hydrated correctly it would have been a good mix of eggs, potatoes and cheese. The main problem I had with it is the amount of pepper it contained. If you like pepper then this breakfast is for you.
