The booster 2 is a great all around rope

Ti just bought my fourth Beal booster they really shine for traditional climbing. It has a nice ballance of lighter weight and medium thickness, it doesn't feel cumbersome lining pitches,or look like a shoelace when your run out and and having second thoughts. The rope had excellent impact absorbance to help gear stay put, although your second might wonder if you're holding the other and when they fall at the bottom of a long pitch.
