Reviews & Ratings for Big Agnes Air Core Ultra Sleeping Pad

A nice rug for the warm season. Very compact and beautiful color. All for the sake of photos *
I liked its small volume and weight of 510 grams (625 grams full set). It is easily twisted, easily inflated and inflated. Not noisy and not pushed like my winter Klymit. Finally, my friend will have a be...

Got this because there was a coupon and its thickness. I sleep on my side so thicker is usually better but I had to deflate to about 70% to get comfortable. If you like firm tho, this is the one to get.

Took these on a camping trip the sleeping bag was warm but on the last night it got down to 32 degrees Fahrenheit and I was freezing so I was very disappointed since it’s rated for 20 degrees Fahrenheit also the sleeping pad was some what comfortable but it felt like I was falling off most of the time but once I got settled In enough it was pretty comfortable so to sum up the sleeping bag was warm most of the time and the sleeping pad was comfortable enough when I moved around enough.

I ordered the Big Agnes Air Core Ultra Sleeping Pad (wide regular) and am happy with the purchase. Great value for a very durable pad. Very comfortable and made with thick material. I don't worry much about it blowing out because of the thick material and the fact it's so cheap. It's not the lightest but when durability counts, get this pad. It comes with an inflation sack but it's thick and heavy and hard to fill with air. The sack affixes easily and securely to the pad but if you want to shave some ounces, just leave it at home. I don't think you'll miss having the inflation sack. Maybe try one of your other lighter inflation sacks from another pad.
Pros:
Durablity worth a few extra ounces
Cons:
Not the best inflation sack
Best Used for:
Backpacking or car camping

Picked this up just before Uinta backpack. Perfect for my needs- nice loft, doesn't hurt hips or shoulders. Light. Fits back into stuff sack. Pump sack takes a minute to get used to but genius idea and works well under duress- baaad weather. I was insulated and comfy even though tent nearly collapsed under gale force winds. This was an important factor in warming me up and keeping me safe.
Pros:
Light weight
Quality Construction
Great color
Excellent air mattress
Cons:
None
Best Used for:
Car Camping
Backpacking (multiple days)

It more depends on the size of your sleeping bag. At 5ft4in you can get the petite (66in) pad and be fine. If you use a Big Agnes bag you'll want to get the pad that fits the sleeve of your bag. Feel free to contact us to discuss if you need additional help in figuring this out.
