Awesome family tent!!!
This tent is so well designed, it makes you want to enjoy the outdoors! It has large windows and the bright, cheerful colors help make it feel not so dreary during a storm. The colors actually make it feel sunny. The set-up is very reasonable, it took 10 minutes the first time thru in my backyard. We have used it once in the rain and it stayed dry, even in the large vestibule. I recommend you b

Big AngesBig House 6 tent 6 person 3 season.
I would not recommend this tent. Too much air flow inside. You don't stay warm at all in this tent. Better have sleeping bags to sleep in. You can see the stars without the top cover. All in all I'd give this tent a 3.
Pros:

- Sleeps 6 people
Cons:
- The air blows through the tent leaving you cold. You can see the sunlight.
Best Used for:
- Camping
- Tent has tendency to come apart

terrible!
Before I begin, I own 2 other Big Agnes tents, which is part of the reason I went with the Big Agnes Big a house 6. This tent was to replace a sierra designs 6 person tent that last 12 years.
First, the poles are a small diameter for this size tent and makes it flimsy. Second, even with it staked out, the tent sagged due to what seemed like extra material. The sides were this way as well as the end with the main door, made it difficult to get in and out of with the sagging material. Also, all the tents that I have had, had the seams line up with where the tent poles went. This one had a offset in the sewn seams in relation to the poles which seemed to add to the sagging material. I am extremely disappointed in this tent.

Tent needs another update
This tent is everything as advertised but has its shortcomings. The lack of a vestibule and full coverage rain fly was the reason why I had to return this after giving it a try while doing some beach camping. Condensation was a problem for the back door. Although there is tons of space, I'd rather leave wet dirty gear outside covered and not inside this tent. Understand their is the optional vestibule, but the price pushing close to $400 should have a vestibule IMHO.

Big House 6 Tent -6 Person - 3 Season
So far so good. Able to fit a queen size mattress and box spring bed into this tent. Very good air flow throughout the tent. It has been through a few rain and wind storms as well with no leaks.

Looks great
The tent went up easily. My ten year old boy assisted, but I think I could due it myself. The tent is very spacious for five, a bit tight for six. There are a lot of interior hooks and side pockets. Two things to consider: the tent is about 10 x 8 feet, which is a bit two large for SOME of the campgrounds in the national parks. For instance Yellowstone restricts most tents to 8 X 8. Also I wish they had put a screen on the top half of the rear door like they did on the front, even though there is a small screen on the upper rear portion of the tent (above the door). I am optimistic about the tent and the only reason I haven't given it a five yet is that I haven't had the opportunity to truly test it outside.

Ripped on first use. But thats 'normal'.
Purchased a Big House 6 complete with footprint & vestibule from a local retailer 3 wks ago. On its first use it was fine, but during tear down a tent pole went through its sleeve. Returned to local retailer for warranty work. Have now heard back that Big Agnes considers it a 'normal wear and tear issue' and thus will repair it at *MY* cost, or I can attempt a self repair. Avoid.

Good tent
Purchased in Spring 2015 and used it 3 times so far for weekend camping trips. It held up well in the rain, didn't have any leaks, and we stayed dry. The doormat is a surprisingly nice feature. It's great to be able to stand up in this tent. Lots of tent pockets for storing those items you may need to get to easily. Hook loops at the top for hanging a lantern/flashlight. My only complaint is that the second door does not have a mesh screen for ventilation. I would give it 5 stars if not for this. Glad I made this purchase. Good quality tent. May purchase the vestibule next year. It's also nice that the instructions are printed on the tent bag. It's easy to set up.

Big house 6 Tent - excellence quality and fast to setup
i bought this for a trip to Lake Tahoe in July 4th. The color design is great. The rain cover is very useful and easy to use. The whole setup took 10min. Every component fit well together. The carrying bag is excellence.
