I bought one of these after our mongo huge Eureka leaked so much that I had wrung a towel out into a bucket and more than filled it. Thats over 5 gallons. THIS tent, however, has withstood about three weeks worth of active camping and another month in my backyard (the kids were using it on and off and we just left it up). We got rained on hard with pretty decent wind on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon for 3 days. No problem with the tent. Obviously no problem through other uneventful camping. We live in Houston and you all know how much rain we get, but you might not know how hard it actually rains here. It rains so hard that I end up in the yard digging trenches so that the ground wont saturate down to the roots of our largest trees. Scared they will topple on the house. We have so much rain that last year during a storm (it lasted for days and days) that I drained 2 ft of water out of the pool and then had to do it again only to have it fill again. 4 ft of rain in 3 days. The tent was NOT set up for this rain, however, it has withstood rains like that for shorter periods of time in the backyard. Its a champ. After such good luck with the first one we bought I bought a second.
What else..? Its super simple to set up. 5 minutes, easy. The rainfly just clips in place. Awesome.
