Mrs. Nobody's Review of Big Agnes Big Six Camp Chair
I bought the Big Agnes Big Six Camp Chair because I wanted something to sit on when I’m done walking. I haven’t used it in the trail yet. My bathroom scale says it weighs 3.2 lbs. I had a lot of trouble setting it up for the first time. The last corner wouldn’t stretch over the last peg. I fought with that thing for probably 5 minutes. It was aggravating. I’ve sat in it for a little while, and now it’s easier to pull the fabric over the last peg, but it’s still annoying and difficult. Maybe with increased use it will become easier. I noticed that I if I don’t throw something (clothes/small pillow) behind my back, it really hurts in this chair after a while. I miss the arm rests. It’s not a deal-breaker, but I do miss them. It’s relaxing to have somewhere to sit. Hopefully with use, I’ll learn to love this chair. So far, I really like it. It is portable... and a chair... and it’s light... so that’s what I wanted!
Pros:
well-built
A place for my butt, high off of the ground
Great quality materials
Fool-proof frame is easy to set up
Ticks have longer to climb to get to my body
I highly doubt it will ever break
Cons:
Tight new fabric is not easy to set up
The feet slide around on concrete
It was expensive
Best Used for:
Sitting outside
Would Recommend:
Yes
