This chair is great for a variety of uses from camping to summer baseball games. It's super sturdy and comfy and packs down small. Set up takes a minute to figure out at first but once you get it down it's not too bad.
Great chair! After a long hike, it feels good to relax in a full back chair. Plastic chairs can be less weight, but not by much. This is good for all seasons, without a concern for cold weather/ snow shoeing/ hiking trips... and the plastic breaking. Big Agnes stands by their products, and was a major factor in why I chose this item, aside from the full back. Looking forward to this being the only backpacking chair I buy in this lifetime!
Best chair for folding and sitting. The high back is key to a comfortable sit. Lightweight and small for hauling around. Very sturdy even for large people. Would recommend for outdoors and spectator events.
Pros:
Sturdy, comfortable, small package
Cons:
None
Would recommend: Yes

I purchased this as a festival chair and for motorcycle camping. it is a large chair, pushing the limits of a packable chair, but after a long days ride, this high back chair is worth the extra weight and size. Also, easy to get in and out of, unlike some of those smaller/lower chairs similar to this design. This chair will be along for my next BWCA trip, worth the extra weight/size.
Pros:
Large, easy in, easy out
High back, nice head rest
Cons:
slightly larger pack size
Best Used for:
anything other than ultra light backpacking
Would recommend: Yes

I bought the Big Agnes Big Six Camp Chair because I wanted something to sit on when I’m done walking. I haven’t used it in the trail yet. My bathroom scale says it weighs 3.2 lbs. I had a lot of trouble setting it up for the first time. The last corner wouldn’t stretch over the last peg. I fought with that thing for probably 5 minutes. It was aggravating. I’ve sat in it for a little while, and now it’s easier to pull the fabric over the last peg, but it’s still annoying and difficult. Maybe with increased use it will become easier. I noticed that I if I don’t throw something (clothes/small pillow) behind my back, it really hurts in this chair after a while. I miss the arm rests. It’s not a deal-breaker, but I do miss them. It’s relaxing to have somewhere to sit. Hopefully with use, I’ll learn to love this chair. So far, I really like it. It is portable... and a chair... and it’s light... so that’s what I wanted!
Pros:
well-built
A place for my butt, high off of the ground
Great quality materials
Fool-proof frame is easy to set up
Ticks have longer to climb to get to my body
I highly doubt it will ever break
Cons:
Tight new fabric is not easy to set up
The feet slide around on concrete
It was expensive
Best Used for:
Sitting outside
Would recommend: Yes

I have tried several competitors brands and this chair wins the day. The seat is wider than most and the chair doesn't squeeze your shoulders like less expensive models do when you fully weight it . They split the horizontal bar in the middle smart !! That means the chair self equalizes on uneven terrain. Easy carry to the soccer fields or anywhere else you want to chill out and be comfy !
Pros:
Packable
Cons:
grooves on pole make it stronger but a little hard to set up once you get it though it no a problem.
Best Used for:
sitting on your butt.
Would recommend: Yes
